Annexed to the complete renovation and redesign program by the Marion Bernard agency for a townhouse in Marseille, we conceived and produced two large floor-tile drawings for the „garden room“: a half-open, half-covered backyard to the house. Every single tile was cut into diagonal pieces, creating a perfect match with the existing geometry of the classical parquet pattern that was laid down inside the house. The colors interact perfectly, creating a mosaic between wood and stone. Two ancient methods merge into a new visual creation: a contemporary image of rhythm.
